QCE Credits

WORKING TOWARDS A QUEENSLAND CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION (qCE) IN 2019

To be eligible for a Queensland Certificate of Education (a QCE), students must achieve at least 20 credits in their Learning Account. A minimum of 12 credits must come from completed Core courses of study.

At least 1 credit must come from Core studies completed while enrolled at a Queensland school.

The remaining 8 credits can come from a combination of core, preparatory, enrichment or advanced courses, with preparatory studies contributing a maximum of 6 credits.  Students must also meet the QCE literacy and numeracy requirements.

Any questions specific to your own circumstances should be directed to the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA).

Here’s how Unilearn can help you add to the credit(s) you already have accumulated:-

Adding to your Learning Account

Your Learning Account is usually opened in Year 10. As well, your LUI (Learner Unique Identifier) is assigned at this time. This account remains open for nine years. During this time you can add to your credits after successful completion of Unilearn subjects.

If you want to add to your Learning Account after this period of time, you need to contact QCAA directly to add these credits.
